Absolutely stunning WW2 casualty group of 5 medals awarded to LT/LX27884 Steward. Ronald Alfred Lark. Sadly Ronald was killed in action aboard HM Trawler Tervani RNPS on 7th February 1943 aged 31. He was the son of William Alfred & Rose Lark of Lowestoft Suffolk and commemorated with honour at the Lowestoft Naval Memorial.
Unfortunately during the course of their duties Tevani was sunk off cape Bougaroni, Algeria in position 37 degrees 22'North, 06 degrees14'East by the Italian submarine Platino at 23:27 hours on 7th February 1943.
The medals all come in the original box with slip and wax packets, the ribbons have never been applied. .Stunning group with lots of research potential.
