Nicely presented WW1 British War Medal awarded to 4703 Pte. J McCutcheon Liverpool regiment. Sadly James was Killed in action on 25/2/1917 aged just 29 whilst serving with the 2/6th Bn (The Kings Liverpool Regiment). This unit was a rifle Bn and James details can be found recorded under his number 242159. He was the son of James and Florence McCutcheon of Liverpool. He is remembered with honour at the Y Farm Cemetery Bois-Grenier. I will provide a copy CWGC and MIC which nicely cross references his service numbers.
