Beautifully toned WW1 British War Medal awarded to : 8769Pte. W. Attridge. Dorset Regiment. This medal is so toned it is almost black, has a nice piece of original silk ribbon and a small edge knock above the T in Atteridge but does not quite touch it. The suspending rivet feels a little loose but lovely all the same. I will enclose a copy MIC which shows that Pte. Attridge is entitled to a 1914/15 Star & Victory Medal and was later transferred to the RAMC and re-numbered 136081. There is also a copy roll for RAMC entitlement to the War & Victory medals however these are issued to him in his parent regiment.
