Very nice British War Medal awarded to: T. Hurley Canteen Assistant. The medal comes on a nice long piece of original ribbon and is nicely toned. It comes with a lovely old postcard of HMS Prince George. it also comes with a page of photo copy research conducted by DAE Morris from Hampshire which confirms medal entitlement to 1914/15 Star, BWM & Victory Medal. After remarks it states Prince George. PRO ref. ADM 171/133 page 533.
The medal is mounted on black card with the previous owners written details so I will leave it in the wallet with the postcard. the medal does have a couple of minor edge knocks close to the naming hence the price.
