Another stunning MSM group of 4 WW2 era. The War and Defence Medal are un-named as issued. The LSGC ( George V Ind AE Imp Regular Army Bar) is named to : 5609515 W O Cl 11 J W Griffin RAPC. The MSM ( George V1 Fid Def 5600 issued) is named to 5609515 W O Cl 1 J W Griffin RAPC. The group is on a pin bar for wearing and threaded through a box which has kept the medals in excellent condition. They are all on lovely original ribbons and come with 2 enamel plaques, one door and one desk I suspect to : Major J W Griffin RAPC. I have done some research and can track Major Griffin from a Lieutenant to Major through promotions up to T/Staff Paymaster. Worthy of more research but a stunning WW2 group with a GV LSGC.
